FLOW FORECAST : MARCH

This months date to remember is the 20th March, for on this auspicious day we greet the Spring Equinox, Aries season commences and Mercury slides direct. In doing so it completes the line up and ALL PLANETS ARE DIRECT UNTIL MAY 1ST. Yes thats right my friends, you will have nothing to blame but yourselves, and what a breath of fresh air this will be after last years seemingly eternal period of retrogrades giving us only a few weeks of respite.

3rd March : Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo
We can all breathe a sigh of relief as the eclipse portal closes, using the full moon to illuminate what we truly need to release, its a purge. Lurking by the south node which relates to the past, it brings a huge decluttering energy in the sign of Virgo, which off the back of the internal revolution kick started by the Solar Eclipse in Aquarius and the great conjunction on the 20th of Feb feels like a HUGE point of expansion. It’s time to really lean into our hell yes and our fuck no.

11th March : Jupiter Direct
Jupiter is a delight and we welcome the forward motion of the planet of expansion and abundance with open arms.

19th March : New Moon in Pisces
One of my favourite new moons of the year, dream those dreams, write them down and start to bring them into reality.

And breathe, your keys are where you left them and your phone works again.

20th March : Spring Equinox
If the year is a clock, we’ve hit 6:00am, we cross the threshold from Soul to Solar energy initiating the ‘doing’ phase of the year, its time to get up and at em (or at least have a cup of coffee and make a to do list).

The fiery energy of the ram and the beginning of the astrological year. Again, its initiation energy, amplified by the Equinox, it wants to propel you forward into those creative fires of change, it’s giving bold, brave and an energetic push forward.

I always pull cards for eclipses. A card to show me what the over arching theme is. No big spreads, just one card.

My card for the solar eclipse was the 3 of Swords. It resonated deeply on so many levels with what was coming up for me. However my card for the upcoming lunar eclipse is Wheel of Fortune. DELIGHTED.

And this drew my attention back to the overarching card of the year I am yet to talk about. In the Tarot this year is a 10 year and this my friends is The Wheel of Fortune.

We don’t break the number down to 1 like in numerology as we have 22 major arcana cards to play with, and whilst we can all embrace the energy of 1 and The Magician I think it’s pertinent to listen to the lessons of The Wheel of Fortune as well.

One may resonate more than the other or you may find you feel drawn to embrace the messages of them both. There is no right or wrong.

10´s signify endings and beginnings all rolled into one, as one cycle ends another begins, and it’s about being receptive to these shifts and changes.

It’s about trust and going with the flow and it can be a challenging card in this respect, but if you can find a way to lean into it the rewards are plentiful.

This card can signify (please note this is not an exhaustive list) renewal, a unification of your body, mind and soul, alignment, good fortune (obvs) and the ability to see obstacles or blocks and navigate round them.

It brings forward movement above all else.

When we look to the energetics of this year no matter what school of thought you follow, they all have this in common.

Its ruled by Jupiter which is the planet of expansion and abundance - just to really reinforce the energetic flavour available to you

I find it can be a call back towards the natural rhythms and cycles that surround us and it’s supportive of this notion of constant change. Above all else in my eyes, this card always signifies a turning point, a reminder the universe does have your back even if you can’t see it at the time and that when in this energetic you are surrounded by opportunity.

So loosen your grip where you can, lean into flow and see where The Wheel takes you. x

FLOW FORECAST : FIRE HORSE

It’s here. The fire horse, one of the strongest most intense Yang combinations in the entire cycle. (There are two layers to Chinese astrology which interlock to create a 60 year cycle).

The Fire Horse is Yang Fire (Heavenly Branch) on the Yang Branch of Horse (Earthly Branch), and the horse is intrinsically associated with Fire it’s as Yang as it gets.

It is elemental amplification of the highest order. There is no moderation here, nothing to balance the energy, so it’s going to be intense, fast moving and really hard to ignore.

It’s a year that’s said to reward action, courage and honesty, leaving no room for hesitation, complacency or recklessness, and whilst we’re all excited and raring to test these new versions of ourselves out in the big bad world this immediate propulsion forward into unrelenting high energy is going to feel VOLATILE.

It’s EXTREMELY important to prioritise self regulation and stay grounded.

This energy can feel exposing, create restlessness, wild unexpected pivots and above all it can create a really large ‘fuck it’ button.

Horse medicine in general calls for stamina and strength, it’s warrior energy balanced with patience, sensitivity and compassion as well as a need for community, for the herd.

Lean into the stability and measured medicine of the horse to get respite from the fire.

Listen to your intuition and be prepared to adapt.

There are no grey areas, no half measures, it’s yes or no, and all guns blazing for the foreseeable and it might feel like there is alot happening all at once so watch your overwhelm levels.

It’s said to be a good year for building, restructuring, physical movement and travel, that the energy will support you to break out of stagnation and start something new IF it’s ready (note the IF please).

Above all else this energy rewards forward movement, even if it’s small steps.

AQUARIUS SZN X

In my practice the first of February aka Imbolc is the first whispers of Spring, and with this a shift in the seasonal elemental that holds us.

As we crossed this threshold we emerged from the rooted safe haven of the element of Earth, a haven which has held us through the darkest part of the year.

We stir from this deep hibernation and take our first sweet revitalising breaths as we move into the element of Air.

For me Air always brings with it an awakening of the body as well as the mind. Air is our life force and it’s energetic is fresh and welcome.

We have spent our time in earth rooting into our foundations so the first gusts of wind do not knock us from our feet as we step forward towards the solar part of the year.

We take these first inhales and shake the soil from our shoulders, for now we are simply catching our breath.

The lessons of Air and this season bring with it growth and sustenance. Air sustains us through breath. The first thing we do when are born is take a breath and this is what Spring is to me - the first breath of the year, filling your body, your mind and your soul with a renewed sense of vitality.

It gives the first breaths to all we have held in the winter months, our ideas, our hopes and our dreams.

The earth itself stirs, glimmers of what is to come emerge, crocuses and snowdrops, nature also takes its first breaths and prepares. There is no grand entrance, it is soft and gentle. Here when the snow thaws there is some final composting to be done, some leaves will remain to be absorbed, some final lessons to be gleaned from the past cycle as we prepare to initiate fully into the solar stage of this one with fresh eyes after time within.

Air is often associated with the mind, with knowledge, with our beliefs, it’s inspiring, exciting and it’s pure potential. After the denseness of Earth I always feel the shift, everything expands within me.

As well as inspiring and sustaining us, Air moves us. It can forge a path, it can push against you, its essence is change, constant change. We evolve through this element, allowing what is no longer needed to be blown away leaving only what we need in its wake.

The 17th of February is SPICY. If you write nothing else in your diaries this month let it be this date….

1st February : We kickstarted with a Full Moon in Leo, coinciding with Imbolc. It was big and bold and I saw the full moon from my plane window which made me exceptionally happy. (If you want to read more about Imbolc look at my previous post)
 4th February : Yes that’s today, Uranus goes direct in Taurus. HELL YEAH. The change maker starts to shake the foundations once more in the final degrees of Taurus as its makes its way back to its new home in Gemini.

14th February : Saturn goes direct and is back in Aries hanging with Neptune. Remember when they started hanging out here last year? This vibe is here to stay this time.

17th February : New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aquarius. The first of the eclipses on the Leo/Aquarius axis. Let’s call this eclipse the ‘final reckoning’ in relation to everything else going on this month.

We’re looking at ourselves, we’re looking at the collective and we’re placing ourselves where we want and need to be (whether we like it or not #eclipseszn).

17th February : Alongside said eclipse we will finally be free of the year of the Snake and the hotly anticipated year of the Fire Horse gets going, expect time to speed up to warp speed, this energy does not mess about. More musings to come.

18th February : Pisces Season starts. Dreamy times. Literally.

20th February : Saturn Conjunct Neptune at 0 degrees of Aries. Now I wouldn’t normally list a conjunction in here but this is a HUGE.

It’s a quiet but utterly monumental reset.

0 Degrees of Aries is the very beginning of the Zodiac. Saturn and Neptune are essentially opposites ; Structures vs Dreams. It’s giving clarity and a push forward to dismantle old systems which no longer serve. I’m assuming we’re all on board with this so buckle.up.

26th February : Our old pal Mercury Retrograde is back to make us slow down and take stock of what’s going on.

It’s going to be a wild and pivotal month. LET’S GO ⚡️

IMBOLC

I greeted Imbolc in the air this year, gliding through time zones, the spirit of Brighid alongside as she wove her magic.

It was totally accidental, but it felt fitting, my first long haul trip in six years coinciding with the final week of what I see as a period of renewal. This trip has given me the strength and enthusiasm to feel into the energies of emerging much sooner than usual (the rum punch and caribbean sea helped I’m sure).

Imbolc is my favourite of all the fire festivals. It gives the promise of the new day within the liminal soul space. If we’re looking at The Wheel as a clock, it’s 3:00am, it’s not quite time to get up and in my practice it is symbolic of the beginning of Spring and the shift into the seasonal element of Air.

A threshold of potential, Imbolc is the moment where you wake and realise you have the chance to slip back into a comforting slumber, where you can still dream of what will come. Imbolc literally means ‘in the belly’ we’re still gestating but we edge ever closer to birthing what we have been holding close in the winter months.

This period between now and the Spring Equinox holds this energetic, it’s the time where all that has been held in the darkness commences its journey to fruition. It’s my favourite part of the year.

These next six weeks bring freshness, promise and the satisfaction of just that little bit more rest, the final moments of silence before the birds start to sing and we rise to greet the sun.

I invite you to utilise these final throes of soul energy, to connect with what you truly want to achieve during the solar months, to begin to emerge, to take those tentative first steps if you feel called, to explore and feel into what lies ahead before we embrace the shift into solar energies at the Spring Equinox.

Over the next six weeks I’ll be slowly opening my books again and preparing to launch the new offerings I have been holding close this winter. New In Person Circles, Healing Journeys, Online Cacao Club and my new Signature Sessions ✨

But for now I’m going to nestle back down and listen to the whispers of Brighid as she helps ignite the fire from the embers that have guided my winter path.

As we move through the final throes of winter i find myself finally feeling into the energies of renewal.

I have been quiet on here, leaning into the rest I’ve been craving, to the wintering I have needed and last week I finally felt the shift.

I can feel the first tendrils of renewal unfurling within - I wont lie at one point this year I thought this feeling may never come - the Capricorn new moon cementing this shift within.

I have found the energies of this season reflected in my personal life, since the Winter Solstice I have received a diagnosis for a health issue that dominated 2025, and I now have a clear path ahead.

The offerings I’ve been holding are taking shape and I’m starting to feel that frisson of excitement about birthing them into the world.

I’ve also had reminders of what I’ve been rooting into becoming and what I’m leaving behind. I don’t know about you but the year of the snake has also been coming in HARD with its final lessons my side.

All these reminders, these moments, have opened me up to align further with the intentions I have been holding in the stillness of the winter months.

Imbolc greets us on the 1st of February, we move from the element of earth into the element of air and I always find the time between Imbolc and the Spring Equinox the most powerful. It’s like the wind picks up and flows through my hair and that is when this period of renewal feels tangible to me.

We’re still in this liminal soul space until the Equinox when we shift into the solar energies, but this stillness starts to take on a new form, we’re taking a stretch and then burrowing back down, contemplating what lies ahead, peeping out from behind the curtains, all from a place of softness, knowing there is no rush.

The excitement is beginning to bubble, we dream of what will be and of our hopes for the year ahead, it’s not quite go time but you can feel it now.

We’re moving from this place of rejuvenation, seeing our year ahead with fresh eyes, steeped in the experience of the cycles that have come before and the inner reflections of the season just passed, gently ushering us forward, encouraging us to evolve, change, and above all to thrive.

As we move through the final throes of winter i find myself finally feeling into the energies of renewal.

I have been quiet on here, leaning into the rest I’ve been craving, to the wintering I have needed and last week I finally felt the shift.

I can feel the first tendrils of renewal unfurling within - I wont lie at one point this year I thought this feeling may never come - the Capricorn new moon cementing this shift within.

I have found the energies of this season reflected in my personal life, since the Winter Solstice I have received a diagnosis for a health issue that dominated 2025, and I now have a clear path ahead.

The offerings I’ve been holding are taking shape and I’m starting to feel that frisson of excitement about birthing them into the world.

I’ve also had reminders of what I’ve been rooting into becoming and what I’m leaving behind. I don’t know about you but the year of the snake has also been coming in HARD with its final lessons my side.

All these reminders, these moments, have opened me up to align further with the intentions I have been holding in the stillness of the winter months.

The new calendar year has begun, the shouts of ‘new year new me’ will have begun echoing around the world. An energy at total odds with the seasonal energies we are faced with.

We are officially in late winter, we have passed the midway point, the light has been reborn but still, we rest in the darkness.

I always find myself feeling quite inspired at this time of year. I’m comfortable with the darkness now, I’ve connected to it and I feel peaceful within this rooted silence. I can see the glimmers of what could be flickering ahead. I’ve embraced this slower pace despite the chaos around me.

As always we’re still taking our cues from the natural world around us. We’re not leaping into resolutions and snap changes for we’ve been nurturing these ideals all winter long, we’re slowly building on them, bit by bit.

It remains a soft and gentle existence. We are holding ourselves in this nurturing space.

The definition of nurturing is to care and protect something or someone whilst they are growing. The Latin origination of this word translates to ‘feed’ or ‘cherish’. I love the idea of cherishing myself and feeding my hopes for the year, nurturing growth both in my inner landscape and that which surrounds me.

We are in the fertile void, a dreamy time of quiet purpose where we continue to connect to our deeper intentions for the year ahead.

The Wolf moon in a few days time will really set us on the path to look ahead allowing us to frame what has been percolating, to show us how to draw on our wildness as we emerge. Today we greet the shortest day and the longest night with the Winter Solstice aka Yule.

In my practice we are at the peak of winter, and today is a threshold which signifies the return of the sun. Yes that’s right, the nights officially start to get shorter again. That wasn’t so bad was it?

If I’m honest, this year I am yearning for just a little bit longer in this darkness. I’m not quite ready.

This is what I always remind people of when working with The Wheel, some years you’re ready and some years you’re not and both are ok.

The Wheel can just be a nudge that keeps you on track, for a Sabbat can be a celebration or just a moment to pause, take a breath and acknowledge where you are in the year.

This Solstice is even more auspicious as we had a new moon last night, the last new moon of the calendar year offering us the chance to really feel into who we want to be in this double darkness.

On my end it felt really energetically charged, like someone turned up the dial on ‘new beginnings’. It was very much a push into this new incarnation, a now or never moment. It felt like it was time to step forward, ready or not and I loved the dynamism of it. A taster of the energy that’s coming in this next solar cycle.

So as we cross this threshold we honour both the darkness and this new beginning. Rest and Renewal.

We honour the start of the slow return of the sun and this new cycle ahead.

We honour the Winter Solstice and this turn of the Wheel.

With this in mind, I invite you to contemplate what you are taking with you, and what you will leave behind.

What will you continue to gently hold during this period of rest ready for those lighter, warmer days?

Rooting into the things I need, what stabilizes me, an acknowledgment of when I need to stop, when I need to push. The slowing of my day to day pace giving these pockets of clarity.

When we move from a place of stillness, where our focus is on recovery and rest we can see those moments which fill up our cup much more clearly. When to say yes and when to say no.

It might be a practice or a routine, something that comforts us and brings us strength. It is this strength which roots us and that we can build upon this as we move through the latter stages of winter.

It could be something as simple as a bath or creeping out of bed in the darkness to meditate or stretch by candlelight, or just being in the stillness before the world wakes up.

We are listening to the wisdom that is whispered in the dark and the knowing that runs through our bones, for we all have knowledge deep within, we just need to find a way to unlock it.

There is so much noise in our everyday world and winter gives us the opportunity to consciously be in this quiet. There is no chorus of bird song to wake us, no sunlight beaming through our window first thing in the morning. Everything is later. The day is shorter. The focus is on this darkness. This fertile void. Giving us time to think about what we’re taking forwards with us across the threshold of Yule and onwards.

I read a quote the other day ‘In a world of tangible material truths, Winter is here to give us space to rediscover a realm of beautiful eternal spirit’

The sun will begin its return soon enough. For now we enjoy wintering and we focus on ourselves and our foundations.

Last week the snow arrived here with full force. A clear marker that Winter is here. The mountain pass was closed, the trains were only intermittently working. Outside my window, for a few days, time stood still.

Composting has now slowed to a glacial pace. The leaves buried deep under the snow. It’s still happening but on a MUCH slower scale.

It always amazes me when the snow melts here that there are still fallen leaves underfoot in some places and that those final stages of transition occur after this elongated period of rest, as the earth wakes again and we enter the final throes of renewal.

The lesson here is the reminder that things can still be happening below the surface, even in a time of deep rest.

We can’t always be on - as someone who has suffered burn out twice I know this only too well.

We can’t constantly reflect, swirling in our own thoughts and analysis.

We must leave space for the silence and the stillness, for this is where the magic lies, the downloads, the whispers and sparks of inspiration. This is where renewal lurks.

We need this stillness, we are just conditioned to think we don’t. We need to rest like the earth does so we can embrace the return of the warmth and the flurry of activity come Spring.

Admittedly without the sharp and dramatic turn in seasons andsurrounded by the bright lights of the city it can be hard to remember this, but the ever present reminder that the earth rests lies under the blanket of elongated darkness that envelopes us no matter where we are, encouraging us to do the same.

So as we greet midwinter now we’re focusing on slowing down. We’re still seeking that earthly connection but as the nights draw in we’re prioritising rest, more yin yoga, more baths, earlier to bed with your book or your journal, a sound bath, digital detoxing.

It’s time to seek out that quiet space, the stillness and allow yourself to exhale, to be held by the infinite darkness and above all to listen. x

We kick off December with a Full Moon in Gemini. Clarity and inspiration under the illuminating pull of la luna. A cracking start to the month and an opportunity to clear up any miscommunications that might have transpired through Mercury retrograde or release any stories that linger and are ready to release. Gemini is social as well so say yes to that invite if it lights up your soul and get out there and squeeze your pals, ignite the connections that present themselves should you wish.

Neptune heads direct in the final degree of Pisces, helping you tie up those retrograde revelations in dreamy form before it heads back into Aries at the end of Jan where it will remain for the remainder of our lifetime. I’ll probably bang on about this in Jan.

We’re taking a break from my usual content to talk everyone’s favourite catch phrase ‘limiting beliefs’, aka the uncomfortable fears we disguise as truths. Don’t get me wrong some fears ARE rooted in truths, BUT some of these ‘truths’ we create to shield us, to keep us in a more comfortable space.

If you’re constantly telling yourself you’re afraid of something or that you’re not capable that story WILL solidify in you.

Last week I conquered my fear of the scaff tower, conquered the belief I can’t do anything up high by myself. I used to get vertigo, I once cried at the top of (in retrospect) a very small ladder and I am especially bad on something that feels the slightest bit unstable.

I have been spared the scaff tower as much as is humanely possible when you are two people building a house and I’ve never been on it for a ‘solo task’ because I’d convinced myself I couldn’t possibly do that BUT the back of our house needed oiling.

It’s been cutting me deep every time I’ve looked at it, it needed some UV love before the snow hits and as the more skilled of the two of us Steve had better things to do…

SO my options were
A) watch the beautiful wood fade away and hope Steve got round to it at some point.
B) get up the tower and do it myself.

I can confirm that the start of this task was deeply unpleasant. I panicked a bit. I almost cried, especially when I had to stand on the top level to paint the balcony for the first time and felt the wobble but by the end I was ok.

I’d found what worked for me, what stabilised me in this particular task (i.e gripping the balcony as I painted it) and I managed to oil the whole thing and dare I say it felt almost ok up there (and had to keep reminding myself not to get cocky and to focus because that was how accidents happen).

We’re in Scorpio season, the Scorpio New moon approaches (it’s a banger btw) we’re swimming in retrogrades and we’re letting our leaves fall.

It’s time to reflect and redirect.

So over this past week we have been contemplating and (hopefully) cultivating our connection to the Earth.

Have you managed to bring a moment of connection in your day to day, or just a few days a week?

Have you noticed a shift in how you feel?

More importantly what have you noticed is going on around you?

Have you taken note of the leaves on the floor and the start of their slow turn? Noticed they don’t all fall at once, that they give the earth time?

Here the leaves fall first, slowly but surely, one by one and once those trees are bare the larch needles begin to fall.

Everything has its place, it’s time. It is considered, a process. It’s not about overloading, there is nothing ‘too much’ about this process.

This timing gives the earth space to do what it needs to do, recycling what is no longer needed and using it to create a fertile base for the future.

As we move into winter we are also internally composting, letting go of the visions and ideals that didn’t come to fruition in the harvest. Allowing the past seasons to fall around us, stripping everything back, switching our energies (where we can) from doing to just being.

Early winter is a time to start slowing down, of reflection and digestion.

We use this time to acknowledge the reasons, the why’s, the wherefores of what worked and what didn’t, so when we start to fill this space with new ideas, we are doing so from a new baseline, one where we have integrated the lessons from the past year, adding new layers to our inner landscape from which we will start to build new foundations on in the latter darker months.
It’s all part of this cycle of evolution.

My point is we must allow time for this period of digestion, to sort through, to examine, to take the nutrients to fuel ourselves for the year ahead.

So this week, think about what you’re letting go of, what you’ve learnt, the good bits you can take from it, feelings and ideas, imagine these as leaves falling from you, perhaps draw some leaves and write inside whats being composted or what you’ve learnt.

Consciously acknowledge this practice that the element of earth shows us, decay is a key component of growth. It is transition.

CACAO CLUB : WINTER RESET : EARTH

As the nights darken and we edge further into the stillness of winter, I’m holding an in-person Winter Reset Cacao Ceremony here in the Chamonix Valley on Friday 5th December.

Offering an opportunity to carve out some sacred space for yourself before the madness of the festive period and high season gets going!

This ceremony marks a slight shift in the timing and content of my offerings, bringing the ceremony’s to the beginning of each season rather than focusing on the solar festivals and the wheel.

There will still be sprinkles of seasonal wisdom to frame our minds and archetype work as always, but i’m shifting the focus into a deeper elemental connection, and allowing for a longer period of integration before the energies change.

Alongside connecting to and listening to the guidance of the Cacao Spirit we’ll be working with the element of Earth, focusing on rooting ourselves into a stable and supported foundation for the darker months ahead.

FLOW FORECAST : JUPITER RX

Jupiter spins on a 12 year cycle so it spends roughly a year in each sign and 3-4 months of that it going backwards. It’s currently in Cancer so we’re looking at home, family, emotional wellbeing and our intuition.

We cannot constantly press forwards, we need moments to pause, to rest, to recalibrate, to check in with ourselves and explore feelings we may have glossed over or address unfinished projects.

This is why we welcome a retrograde, it gives us space to create meaningful life shifts within the thematics of that planet and the sign it’s in.

There’s 5 of them trundling backwards and giving you space to catch your breath right now.

Jupiter is all about growth, expansion and prosperity, it’s known as the lucky planet and when it goes RX people immediately assume their luck runs out.

This is not the case. It’s just giving us a moment to re-evaluate what we truly value and desire in life, to tap into our own wisdom.

This retrograde isn’t a slap in the face. It’s a gentle nudge towards self expansion, a time to assess progress and your long term visions so when she spins back around she can shower you with abundance and good fortune and prosperity and all the good stuff.

It’s not just about being barefoot on the ground (although I’m all for that) it’s about a continued interaction and appreciation of the world around you, all it offers to us and everything else it supports.

Take walking for example; many of us walk or run with headphones in, listening to music or podcasts, on the phone to friends, we’re not fully present on our walk.

Walking with the intention of connection, focused on what is in front of us, consciously choosing to engage with our surroundings is something different.

I would have said I have a strong connection with Earth, but the introduction of a 20-30 min walk, within the first hour of waking up has deepened that connection.

Over the last 6 weeks I have walked the same loop and born witness to the subtle daily shifts in the landscape. I have felt even more connected to the seasonal movement and quelle surprise, it’s made my day better.

I feel more positive, energised and productive. I feel calmer, supported and more open. Instead of filling my cup up three times a week, I’m topping it up each day.
I’ve found the time.

We are just one part of the earth’s ecosystem, but we are increasingly disconnected from the rest of the parts that we are supposed to exist alongside in symbiosis.

It’s a proven fact that a connection to nature improves our wellbeing and yet we, as a species, continue to push ourselves further into isolation, this sphere of our own creation, the global digital revolution, sprawling cities, smart phones, AI.

So this week I invite you to join me, to factor in 15-20 minutes of being outside first thing in the morning.

Whether that be drinking your tea in your garden or walking round your local area and familiarising yourself with the landscape. If you live in city, look to gardens or parks or just sit with a plant in your home with the intention of connecting to the earth.

Consciously connect, look and listen. x

We have crossed the threshold into the early stages of winter and are now settling into the seasonal element of Earth which will reside with us until February.

The seasonal element offers us support and gentle reminders to keep us on track depending on where we are in the cycle of the year.

The elements are the foundation of my practice, I’m going to take you into the rich tapestry that can be found within element alignment, season by season. I don’t know what form that’s going to take right now but I’m going to bring you along for my annual ride.

We are in the new year according to the wheel, Samhain signals beginning. This next few months are about rest and renewal, shaping our vision for our year ahead, for percolating on our ideas so we are surefooted when we step out of hibernation in Spring ready to sow those seeds.

Unlike a ‘New Year’s resolution’ we are invited to take the time feel into and explore these thoughts, visions and ideals, to make sure they are aligned with us before we announce them to the world.

This is why we need the rooted support of Earth, so we don’t lose our way as we align with our goals in the darkness of the winter.

Earth offers an incubator for us and the ideas we are dreaming in the darkness. We are held by the warmth of life below the surface. The earth remains alive but the pace is slowed, allowing it to rest, to gather its strength once more. It’s slowly digesting those autumn leaves that have a formed a layer of protection and turning them into the fertile soils that will be needed once more when the daylight returns. We are doing the same.

Earth invites us to learn its lessons over winter, that progress can be made in the dark silence, encouraging us to root into a stable foundation and above all to rest in its embrace, allowing us to mould into the symbiosis of life : giving and receiving. To ensure we’re ready once the time for work arrives.

Composting is slow, that process has only just begun and in winter our first lesson is to do the same, to slow down and lean into this idea of patience, to know we must wait until the conditions are right and that we have time. For now it’s time to embrace wintering. x

Today we greet Samhain, the final harvest festival, the last opportunity to gather what remains and give thanks for the abundance that has been bestowed upon us this year.

It is a time when they say the veil is at its thinnest -as a medium I feel like the veil is always thin if I’m honest - BUT It offers us an opportunity for quiet contemplation, to give thanks to our ancestors, to honour them and listen for their messages. I’m always here for that.

It marks the death of the year as everything becomes dormant and the endless cycle of renewal begins again.

Samhain is a threshold, it is the new year, the start of the next cycle of the wheel and thus it brings with it the opportunity to reflect on the year that has passed and to start to sow the seeds for the year to come.

It’s a time to think about what you want to incubate over the winter period as we shift our gaze inwards, towards the darkness and engage with the element of earth.

It’s time to root in.

I felt so disconnected from my home, from my practice, from all that fills me up. My focus was not on rest and renewal. My focus was on something bigger, my focus was to hold Steve’s hand and offer support and stability through the darkness.

I have however felt this lack of rest, this lack of wintering, reflected within my year. It’s rippled through as a gentle reminder, a hum of what and how I am called to live and the repercussions of ‘being on’ all the time.

A reminder why I follow this path.

As the wheel turns. I have a clear picture of what I’ll be sitting with this winter and I’m excited to see what unfolds as I nurture these seeds ready for next Spring.

AUTUMNAL MUSINGS

Autumn here this year has been particularly breathtaking, the colours unbelievably vibrant. I felt like I was seeing it all for the first time, like my first Autumn here all over again.

The weather has been glorious up until last week, and I’d been taking every opportunity I could to get out and enjoy the last throws of glory. The bite of the cold mornings giving me pink cheeks and the endless hunt for my errant gloves before I stepped out.

Last week the rain came and with it a surprising first snowfall. It caught some people off guard. I’ve seen so many people stranded on the mountain pass over the past few days, those who haven’t had their tyres changed over or didn’t have chains, unable to make the journey over. Those who weren’t prepared.

The snow will melt over the coming days and those crisp sunny days are returning but the turn to winter is on the horizon, it felt like a reminder, a nudge. Time will soon slow, the clocks have changed, the evenings draw darker, we are days away from Samhain.

My word for October was Exhale. Something I have held consciously within as I continue to embrace a slower softer way of moving, as I adjust to the new lifestyle I am currently entwining myself with.

Every walk I have done this past month has felt like a soft exhale, that moment of peace before the inhale that fills you up. That pause filled with a warm autumnal glow before the slow considered inhale of winter.

I have harvested more than I thought this autumn - metaphorically that is, I only got 3 tomatoes. I was surprised in some cases by what I was letting go of and of what had come to fruition and there is still a few days left, the final push before the third harvest festival and the turn into a new year.

As the snow rests on the top of the mountains, ebbing its way down to the valley floor again, next time no doubt to lay itself down for the long haul. I know I am moving into the winter months ready, that I am prepared (and delighted I can hide my hair under a beanie should I choose too for the next few months)

FLOW FORECAST : PLUTO DIRECT

Pluto is now moving direct, we’re still in the shadow period but the trajectory is now forward motion.

When Pluto goes direct we shift our gaze from the internal to the external, we integrate our internal transformations and use this new found knowledge, these realisations to help us drive the change that we want to see in the outside world, in the collective.

Pluto is the transformer, it destroys the old and brings in the new and it keeps us aligned within ourselves, on our own personal journey, our souls journey.

It’s the endless cycle of death and rebirth in regards to ourselves and how we shape our lives and contribute to society off the back of this inner work.

I am really feeling the effects of the work I’ve been doing, some of it subconsciously (which is now popping to the surface) whilst Pluto has been sliding backwards. I feel like I am stepping forward more aligned than ever before with a really clear idea of where I’ll be putting my energy both personally and professionally over this next 6 months, and I’m excited about filling the space that this period of release has bestowed upon me.

The more I work with Pluto the more OBSESSED I become with it. It is such subtle but incredibly powerful embodiment energy that gently guides us.

As a result of us all squirreling away and confronting our shadows we can push forward the purging of what no longer serves and bring a fresh look as to our part in the evolvement of collective conciousness, Pluto is all about the shift of societal power structures and the breakdown of old systems, and as it continues to settle into its new home in Aquarius we will start to see this unfold.

Pluto really is the vibe to end all vibes in my opinion.

Just a little reminder that you have time, yes we are now in Q4 as the corporate world would tell you, we’re into the last three months of the year and when someone said that to me yesterday I gulped, hard, and had to take a step back.

For even I, the living breathing advocate for cyclical living can be caught off guard by the societal pressures of ‘the year’.

This is why I have a deep disdain for the gregorian calendar, it perpetuates this pressure with time, rather than accepting it as the infinite loop that it is, the cycle of movement and seasonal flow within it.

We are still in Autumn, in the element of water, and water IS time. Every drop of water has been here since the beginning of time and will be here long after we are gone. She has been an ocean, a lake, a waterfall, a puddle, a raindrop and she has passed through us all time and time again.

Lean into the wisdom of water and what she has to teach us about being in flow, if you try and hold her back she will find a way through, whether that be trickling through a crack or bursting the banks of a river for she is in an endless cycle as are we and there is no rush, no urgency, just an acceptance that this is the way things are, a way of moving that is forgotten.

We have a choice to cycle with her, with the seasons and the rhythms that surround us or adhere to the pressure of time that is imposed upon us.

Yes hand in your end of quarter reports but try and do so with awareness that this is simply a movement towards the next stage, when you do so we will be in winter, a time of rest, of rooting and renewing.

Listen, to yourself, to your inner clock for we all need to push forward at different times, and take your lessons from the natural world around us, not from the man demanding your accounts or a presentation or from what you think you should be doing because ‘it’s coming up to Christmas’.

You can do both, you can hand in your reports and listen to the whispers of autumn and the soft approach of winter. I promise you it’s a much nicer place to move from.

LIBRA SEASON X

LIBRA SEASON X

Today we greet the Autumn Equinox or Mabon as it is also known, bringing with it the second harvest, a celebration of abundance and gratitude, fruits and vegetables and the initiation into late autumn, a hugely pivotal time of gathering and reflection within the wheel.

Equinoxes are always about balance.
The day and night are of equal length a time to address the balance within, just like Libra season which also starts today.

Our focus is on turning inwards and how best to support ourselves and maintain this balance through the darker winter months.

Autumn is my absolute favourite, the raw power that comes with this windswept season, the wind claiming the leaves from the trees, the sunny crisp days and cold nights hinting at the presence of winter. Trees are at their strongest in autumn as they prepare to bed down for winter, they have no leaves to make or fruit to bear, all their energy is centered into rooting, to being.

Late autumn is a time to be, to pause and take stock as we edge towards Samhain and the start of winter. Gone is the back to school energy of preparation of early autumn, now it’s about finding your equilibrium.

I was ready for the Equinox this year, for this initiation into soul energy and inwards turn. I spent a delightful weekend at a friends near Dartmoor two weeks ago, foraging, connecting with the land, I made my first crumble of the year with apples and raspberries from her garden and blackberries from our walk. Everywhere you went it felt like all the leaves could fall at any minute, that the bracken was exhaling.

Back in the valley, behold my own harvest. The single tomato I managed to ripen on my balcony in a frost pocket (and I abandoned it for the last 3 weeks of its life so I am AMAZED). I am so very pleased with it.

The leaves are only just starting to turn here, it feels a few steps behind what I felt back in the UK. I felt relieved, relieved I hadn’t missed the moment where the valley erupts into the reds, russets and golden tones, relieved to be home for this moment of splendour, the last hurrah before the snow.

As always take a moment to pause today, to exhale, and to listen to what the land whispers to you. x

Tomorrow my sweet pals we close the door on the Virgo / Pisces eclipse axis with a Partial Solar Eclipse New Moon in Virgo.

I for one am breathing a sigh of relief, again just a reminder if you want to see the areas this might highlight for you, look at which house 29 degrees of Virgo is in your birth chart.

We’re really shedding what we no longer need, at this critical degree of Virgo.

This heralds karmic completion and this eclipse is sat on the South Node which adds another layer of endings into the mix…. Then let’s throw in that it’s a 9 month in a 9 year which is amplifies the ending energy, and finally we’ll add that we started this cycle with a New Moon in Virgo at 0 degrees, it’s very clear that we’re being pushed into alignment.

It’s essentially a cosmic reset of the highest order.

A rebirth into a new way of being and doing, perhaps in a way you have only dreamt of, if you’re open to it.

Expect clarity, final lessons and the confidence to step forward in this new incarnation as the changes that have been put in motion during this portal filter into the every day. BE BRAVE.

Accept where you are holding shame or trying to reach a standard of perfectionism in the areas being shown to you, a standard that perhaps doesn’t exist or needs to be attained.

Beware the voice of your inner critic and remember that we’re looking for the hum of rhythm to run through our day to day, our true baseline, not the baseline imposed upon us by others.

A hum that resonates with your core beliefs and fulfils you, not a hum that drains you. We’re letting go of expectation and the ‘should’. If something feels draining, sit with that. It probably needs your attention.

 We opened the eclipse portal with a new moon in virgo at a critical degree, the full moon is at 15 degrees, the purest expression of a sign, and the portal closes with another critical degree new moon in virgo. Its big transformational vibes and the theme of these eclipses (the virgo / pisces axis) is all about healing and service.

Eclipses reveal what is hidden.

The energy speaks to illumination but it’s showing us something else. The things we don’t want to look at. We’re back digging in the depths of what we turn away from, what we hide from ourselves.

Eclipse season, as always, is a time to listen, not to seek. The only place you need to be looking is within.

Yes it can be disruptive but it’s a huge time for expansion.

I saw a quote the other morning as I logged into my meditation app which was ‘Honour the space between no longer and not yet’ which to me feels perfect for eclipse season and the space we find ourselves in, we are moving between the no longer and the not yet.

The full moon is in Pisces and Pisces is the dreamer and the end of the zodiac so its adds another level of completion energy flowing through this eclipse season.

Where are your dreams and expectations conflicting with the reality?

What is your role in this? Be honest. Are you taking responsibility for yourself and your actions?

Are you placing your energy in the right spaces?

The reality might be uncomfortable and confronting. This is the point.

Yes the house it falls in in your chart will play a role in the impact it has. The eclipse falls for me in my 2nd house and it’s definitely showing me my blindspots within the these thematics.

It is however clear, and although these realisations have brought tears and sadness it’s very clearly showing me a way through and it makes sense. It’s like OH THATS WHY.

Don’t give in to the ‘why is this happening’ look that ‘why’ in the face, be honest with yourself about your accountability, and the answers will come.

Greetings from my sofa.

A relatively relaxed month in the grand scheme of things, which is good as the summer tends to start taking its toll at this point and we are still juggling all the feels from these Rx’s.

Mercury gets back in its box thus easing the everyday madness, but the social and transpersonal planets continue to slide backwards.

They continue to force us to look at things we might not want to, giving us an opportunity for clarity (like it or not) as we embrace the final throes of solar energy. It might feel alot. Make sure you’re not performing every damn day and you’re giving yourself some time to rest. We’re switching to being in flow.

You’ll notice I have put a cheeky astronomical event in this month : The Perseid Meteor Shower.

It peaks on the 11th - 13th August and is your best chance to see a meteor/shooting star. I love it, so let’s cross our paws for a clear night.

Witnessing something which inspires awe lends itself to a wide range of psychological, physiological and social benefits. Look it up, it’s genuinely a thing.

Yes that’s right I said the word Autumn.

And with this turn the elemental baseline shifts today from fire to water, a shift I for one welcome after the intensity of summer.

Lammas gives us, as all sabbats do, a moment of pause and acknowledgment, a chance to slow down, to check in with ourselves and to be present.

We all know how easy it is to get caught up in the pace of summer, and I invite you now to consciously stop and savour the warmth and vitality of the solar energy before we turn inwards at the autumn equinox.

As with any harvest festival we’re looking at themes of gathering and abundance as well as gratitude and release. With the grain harvest we look at the words fulfilment and potential.

We acknowledge that the heart of this year’s harvest is the seeds of next years.

That we’re turning raw material into something fulfilling, using the skills we have learnt, turning the wheat into bread.

If we look to nature it’s still flourishing, the berries are ripening, flowers are still emerging, the same applies to us.

Lammas is the first of the three harvest festivals and serves as a point of connection to the abundance of this time of year. Early Autumn as a whole can be such a pivotal and creative time and yet it seems to fall by the wayside in modern day life.

Katie will be bringing movement and breath to help us reconnect to our bodies and I will be giving a guided visualisation to acknowledge the change in the elemental baseline of the season to water, and connect to the Goddess Sekhmet, alongside a Sekhmet healing to burn away what no longer serves and allow space for us to fill up with the abundance that surrounds us.

Plus we’ll be having a ritual picnic. 🧺

I LOVE working with Sekhmet. She is the ultimate symbol of self empowerment (her name literally means ‘Powerful One’) and thus when you work with her she can help you not only with the embodiment of personal power but also to heal what is holding you back - for those of you who don’t know her energy became known as Sekhem, an entire healing modality.

Yes she had a bit of a bad rep with the whole eye of ra debarcle, but she fights for what she believes to be right, and what was once a destructive energy resolved itself - with the help of Thoth, beer, and pomegranate juice - and is now channeled in a more regenerative way.

SO many of you messaged me yesterday in full panic mode after seeing my stories and the return of this retrograde so I felt I needed to grid this and stress the below sentence.

THERE IS NOTHING TO FEAR.

Yes Mercury Rx is a great moment for memes, but it drives me MAD that there are some astrologers, even well known ones, that perpetuate the fear mongering about this retrograde with what they’re posting.

Yes Mercury Rx can be inconvenient.
Yes it can make you want to throw the internet in the bin, swear yourself off any form of transport, glue your keys to your body and make you think talking to your ex is a GREAT idea. It’s giving annoying sibling energy.

BUT like all retrogrades it’s a portal for growth and introspection.

Let’s look at it like this.

In our day to day lives we can’t always power forward, the same level of momentum is unsustainable and it leads to burnout.

So it’s the same with what we’ve moving through when it comes to inner work.

Ask yourself the question why did you want to call your ex? Or why are they calling you? What’s the undercurrent here? How you can address this issue differently?

Where are you moving through life and not stopping to look around you? Where do you need to slow down? Where do you have unfinished business?

This is a transit which is the bridge to understanding, and whilst it’s beyond frustrating at times, it’s trying to show you something that’s going to lead to growth.

This is the face of a woman who has broken a cycle.

I speak alot of an external cycles on this account but it feels pertinent to speak of the inner cycle work we all undertake. For stories and patterns are in essence cycles and we pass through inner seasons within these as we move through them.

For the past three years there’s been a stigma in my house about going on holiday.

Always conscious we need to be working on our house, to get it finished, that we ‘don’t have time’ for a holiday, that ‘we can’t afford it’.

It is however if you look at it a different way, our job.
An all encompassing job that we live at.

Any time we have spent away from the house has been back in the UK with friends and family, rushing around, frantically doing admin and seeking the connections we miss, all with an undercurrent of guilt that we’re not working on the house, that we MUST get back.

This week we broke that cycle.

We got a last minute invitation to a friend’s house in Cyprus. The flights were cheap, the only direct options were Tues to Sat. We decided that was do-able and we booked and flew within 36hrs. (A luxury not afforded to us all, but to be clear this is the first holiday we have been on that wasn’t our honeymoon in 3 years and we live on a building site).

We all put ourselves in boxes and impose restrictions where there are none out of a sense of obligation.

Yes there are times where these restrictions are real, when it was very real for us not to be able to do this, but I ask you are you carrying any with you that are ready to be left behind?

I had forgotten what but feels like to lie down by a pool and dip in the sea guilt free.

I’d forgotten what it was like to switch off and actually allow myself to disconnect and relax.

So with that in mind I ask you the following…

What inner cycles need to be broken?
What isn’t sustainable anymore?
And more importantly when is your next holiday?

Here are some pics to spur you on because sometimes physically breaking a cycle is the only way, no matter what it is, and the easiest way is to take a break from the everyday.

This is the face of a woman who has broken a cycle.

I speak alot of an external cycles on this account but it feels pertinent to speak of the inner cycle work we all undertake. For stories and patterns are in essence cycles and we pass through inner seasons within these as we move through them.

For the past three years there’s been a stigma in my house about going on holiday.

Always conscious we need to be working on our house, to get it finished, that we ‘don’t have time’ for a holiday, that ‘we can’t afford it’.

It is however if you look at it a different way, our job.
An all encompassing job that we live at.

Any time we have spent away from the house has been back in the UK with friends and family, rushing around, frantically doing admin and seeking the connections we miss, all with an undercurrent of guilt that we’re not working on the house, that we MUST get back.

This week we broke that cycle.

FLOW FORECAST : URANUS IN GEMINI

It’s finally time for me to stop banging on about planets changing signs for a while as Uranus is coming in HOT to close off the last 8 months of madness.

As I said in my overview when Uranus changes signs, EVERYTHING changes.

And I meant it when I said brace yourselves because this is not slow change, its sudden and its unpredictable.
 As always it’s going to dip its toe in to show us the energetics and then retreat back into Taurus in November before it settles in properly in April 2026 where it will be for six years.

We’re basically slotting the last piece of the puzzle into the the most explosive collective extreme makeover we will have born witness too especially if we bring Pluto, Neptune and Saturn and their current all new placements into the equation too.

Uranus is the rebel, the change maker and Gemini’s general vibe as we’ve touched on is communication.

Gemini is very much a “talk, share and pivot” energy, it can be quite scattered, its curious and it’s easy to get lost in the relay of new ideas and inspiration so together thats quite an explosive combination. Be mindful of what you ‘back’ or put your energy behind.

You’ll have seen alot of people talking about how Uranus in Gemini is associated with war and yes given the state of the world right now and the past patterns during this transit that is definitely a cause for concern, but lets face it thats already happening. Yes WWIII could be on the cards, but for me it feels like the real change this transit is bringing is rooted in the digital world.

It’s giving a flavour of radical change in AI, communication, education and media alongside cultural change and disruption.

Media, AI and information control feel particularly prevalent to me.

It’s giving global digital revolution, disruption and a redefinition of class consciousness

A total rewiring of how we think, speak, learn, and connect.

Grounding, sinking into your intuition and looking after yourself physically is going to be key to deal with the mental assault thats heading in our direction.

FLOW FORECAST : NEPTUNE RX

The annual backspin of Neptune started on the 4th of July and we’ll be in these energies for around the next 6 months.

This cycle - 6 months forward, 6 months back - will continue until 2039 so we have plenty time to settle into these energetics and learn how to harness them for our greater good so to speak.

If it all feels a bit new right now just keeping track of whats coming up for you can be a great way to start. Especially with the outer planets.

Neptune is the dreamer, and in Aries it’s been giving us the ability to act on those dreams, things are rising up inside us all and we are starting to find the courage to speak out about these hopes and dreams.

Neptune retrograde is the much needed reality check, it brings with it a clarity, a splash of rationalisation and in essence it’s here to make sure we haven’t got swept up in something that does not serve us, or the idealistic illusion of something.

Disillusionment and realisation are the big thematics that lurk within this transit.

This pause in Neptunes planetary momentum gives us the opportunity to redefine our dreams and invites us - for want of a better phrase - to align with our authentic selves.

This retrograde is a moment to take off our rose tinted glasses and make the relevant adjustments.

Neptune is slow moving, so expect things to slowly rise to the surface. It’s a great point for introspection, and shaking off the shackles of what doesn’t serve. This will unfold both personally and collectively. Freedom and autonomy remain the big themes here.

Pluto is also still in Rx will helps nudge this along. Pluto invites slow release and inner transformation and now Neptune has now brought the subconscious into it. Lovely.

As always, it’s all about change.

Change is the only thing thats constant, we all know this and we all need this, especially as a collective.

So lean in and take responsibility for the change in yourself. x

And just like that we are in July… the passage of time continues to baffle me. HOW IS IT JULY.

The BIG news (and I actually mean HUGE) this month is Uranus moving into Gemini.

When Uranus changes signs, everything else changes too.

Brace yourselves.

It’s a huge pivot point in what feels like a sea of pivot points.

It’s the cherry on the top of all the big planetary movements we’ve been witnessing over the last 8 months.

Neptune and Saturn go on a backward spin along with our annoying little brother Mercury. Which will give us time for a breather and a recap. (Reminder to back your laptop up now)

We greet Leo season which brings with it stability, creativity and courage. The energies will propel you forward - with the boldness to carry it to boot - if you let them.

I like to think of Leo season as the last hurrah of the summer it’s giving the energy of Simba when he finally stands a top of pride rock and roars.

And lurking in there half way through the month is a Full Moon in Capricorn.

But seriously, it’s all about Uranus.

I hope you’re all ok.

Look for the glimmers, do what you can, fight for what you believe in and remember to ask for help if you need it. x
